Wild As The Wind Makes a Smooth Integration of Themes and Usability
Wild As The Wind is a UK-based natural skincare and essential oils brand known for its 100% natural, ethically crafted formulations. The client approached AddWeb Solution with a clear goal: to integrate the new “Amina” theme into their existing WordPress site without disrupting the live customer experience, while also improving performance, checkout flows, product presentation, and overall UI consistency.
Our team revamped the site end-to-end, achieving a cleaner interface, smoother shopping journey, and stronger backend structure across Elementor and WooCommerce.

The Business Needs
Understanding the Needs of Client
Wild As The Wind was in dire need of updating the modernization of their WordPress storefront in order to guarantee their further functioning, smooth shopping process, and the visual appeal that is commensurate with the quality of their high-end products. Their current theme was leading to the incongruence of UI, frictional checkout, and technicalities that were having direct effects on conversions and customer satisfaction.
The site was to be updated with a responsive and unified interface that would accommodate the loyal customer base who visit to buy premium essential oils and natural skincare products. Consumers habitually compare product variations, take advantage of discounts, and shop using various payment options such as PayPal and Klarna.
The client stated that it is essential to ensure 100 percent uptime during the migration, as the site puts in place a certain amount of revenue every day and has a loyal user base. Overlapping Stripe orders leading to overhead in refunds, the absence of product variations, which makes shoppers bewildered, and sluggish performance on the site were critical problems.
Another significant problem of the project was the necessity to implement an entirely new theme into a live production setting without causing any disruption to the operations, and at the same time coordinating all changes through a client-run staging environment. Despite these limitations, Wild As The Wind required a seamless, error-free migration with optimized checkout processes, better product discovery, and an integrated brand experience across the board.
About Our Client: Wild As The Wind specializes in premium, natural skincare and therapeutic-grade essential oils. With a strong, loyal customer base and a vast product catalogue, they needed a modernized, high-performing WordPress storefront that matched their product quality and growing demand.
Our Approach
Strategic optimization of eCommerce to deliver a modern, high-performing experience.
Wild As The Wind, a company that came to us with this urgent need, had to implement its new Amina WordPress theme and stop the severe problems with the work of eCommerce. The main idea was to have a seamless transition, in addition to improving the current site performance, reliability of the checkout, and general user experience.
Although it was a challenging task to work in a live production environment and coordinate it using a client-based staging setup, our team had planned the workflow of such implementation efficiently. We reviewed the current Elementor and WooCommerce setup, found the conflict of the plugins and performance bottlenecks, organized all the inconsistencies in the content and the design, and created a clear-cut plan of how to integrate and optimize the theme.
The developers of our company integrated the Amina theme perfectly without any incongruity to Elementor or WooCommerce. The most important checkout decisions that we made were: duplicate Stripe order, more product variations and pricing visibility, standardization of UI elements on the site, and ensuring the site was faster by eliminating unnecessary plugins and solving CSS/JS issues.
The installation of the project was completed on time and without any downtime, as required by the client to have continuous operation. The client liked the way we did it in a systematic way, communicated well, and was able to make the technical and user experience better at the same time.
The Solution
A well-balanced, conversion-driven, and highly uniform WordPress front-end that would be delivered with no disturbance.
Our team provided an optimized and fully integrated WordPress eCommerce website that ensured business continuity and enhanced performance, ease of use, and visual consistency to a significant degree. The important solution elements within our solution were:
- Complete Whole Amina Theme Integration
We easily switched to the Amina theme that is fully compatible with Elementor and WooCommerce and preserved all the existing functionality, upgrading its visual impression and experience. - Check Out and Pay Optimization
We fixed the duplicate Stripe orders problem, implemented PayPal and Klarna installment, re-ordered the payment methods to make them easier to understand, and reshaped the basket and payment process to minimize friction and customer attrition. - Cleanup Performance Enhancement + Code Cleanup
That optimized the site by eliminating unnecessary content through the use of unnecessary plugins, CSS/JS conflicts that the previous theme had created, and the loading time of the most important landing pages, which led to faster navigation and better performance. - UI/UX Standardization
To achieve a single design language, we used standardized typography, buttons, spacing, icons, and sizes of elements that were used in the entire site. Footer positioning, social media buttons, and homepage gallery were also redesigned to have a consistent brand presence. - Research on improved product discovery
We resolved missing product variations and default pricing problems, improved product and blog content search indexing, search result layout, and added new static product highlight sections to increase discovery. - Marketing & Customer Engagement
We added Google Reviews as an addition to onsite reviews, added a custom Substack subscription pop-up, and used the same 10% subscriber discount messaging on a checkout in order to drive conversions and build an audience.
All updates were deployed through a client-managed staging environment, ensuring safe iteration.
