Ahmedabad, January 2026.
To kick off the new year, the AddWeb family embarked on a memorable three-day company offsite to Ranthambore, Rajasthan. This annual retreat was the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and team bonding, filled with late-night travels, wildlife safaris, lively performances, and a grand awards ceremony celebrating the successes of 2025.
The journey from Ahmedabad to the wilds of Ranthambore, about a 12-hour overnight ride, brought colleagues closer together even before the official events began. What followed was an unforgettable experience of camaraderie, celebration, and connection with nature.
Day 1: Arrival, Adventures, and Annual Awards Celebration
The team arrived in Ranthambore on the morning of January 2, 2026, energized by excitement (and multiple rounds of travel songs and laughter on the bus). After a quick highway breakfast stop, we reached our hotel and settled in. Late morning and early afternoon were spent at leisure; some colleagues relaxed after the overnight journey, while others explored the hotel’s amenities and scenic surroundings. By mid-afternoon, everyone had recharged and gathered for a delightful Hitea. Over cups of hot chai and crispy pakoras, teammates chatted and soaked in the winter sun, eagerly anticipating the evening’s big event.
As the sun set, Day 1’s highlight unfolded: AddWeb’s Annual Event & Awards Night 2025. The venue transformed into a festive arena with music, lights, crackers, and an air of excitement. The evening kicked off with some fun performances by our talented colleagues, from energetic dance routines to a hilarious skit, setting an upbeat tone and filling the air with applause and cheer. This built up to the much-awaited Awards Ceremony, where we recognized and honored the outstanding contributions of AddWeb team members over the past year. The awards and their proud recipients were as follows:

In addition to individual honors, team achievements were celebrated as well:

The awards ceremony was a heartwarming affair, with each winner receiving their trophy amidst loud cheers and a standing ovation. It was inspiring to hear brief speeches from some of the awardees, as well as encouraging words from our leadership team, affirming how each individual’s effort makes a difference.
With formal accolades concluded, everyone moved to the dining area to enjoy a sumptuous dinner, clinking glasses to toast the winners and the year’s successes. But the night was still young, a DJ spun upbeat tracks that got everyone on the dance floor, kicking off an impromptu dance party. Laughter and music filled the air as colleagues-now friends-danced with abandon, celebrating the moment. After the official program wrapped up around 10 PM, those who still had energy (which was most of us!) gathered outdoors for an after-party around a campfire.
Under the starry night sky, we sat around the warm flames sharing stories and jokes, and even humming old songs with a guitar in tow. It was a magical end to Day 1, bonding over the warmth of the fire (and yes, more hot chai and late-night snacks) in the chilly winter night.
Day 2: A Relaxed Morning, Into the Wild, and a Grand Farewell
January 3 began on a calm and unhurried note. After eventful days and a late night of celebrations, the morning was intentionally kept slow and relaxed. Team members enjoyed a comfortable breakfast at the hotel, followed by free time to unwind, explore the property, or simply recharge. Some chose to sit outdoors soaking in the winter sunshine, others revisited photos and videos from the previous night, while small groups gathered for casual conversations that rarely happen during busy workdays. This unstructured time proved invaluable, allowing everyone to reset before the day’s main adventure.
The Safari: Moments of Awe and Collective Wonder
At 1:00 PM, our canters rolled into Ranthambore’s core zones. The forest buzzed-sambar deer at waterholes, nilgai in clearings, peacocks flashing color. Then came the langur’s alarm call. Engines cut. Silence.
Through golden light, a massive tiger emerged-padding straight toward our canter. Ten meters. Five. Close enough to see whiskers quiver, muscles ripple. Our guide whispered: “Hunt.”
A sambar deer bolted. The tiger exploded forward-orange lightning chasing desperate prey through the brush. The ancient predator-prey dance unfolded before our stunned eyes. Whether it caught its quarry vanished into jungle shadow, but the moment etched itself permanently.
Ranthambore Fort loomed above, its 10th-century walls witnessing our modern awe. This wasn’t footage. This was real-a tiger close enough to smell, hunting with primal focus. As it melted back into the forest, our team exhaled, forever changed.
Evening Celebrations and Final Night Together
After returning from the safari, the team regrouped for hitea and some rest, sharing stories and favorite moments from the jungle. As evening approached, it was time for the final celebration of the trip.
From 7:00 PM onwards, the resort once again transformed into a lively party zone. The DJ set the tone for an energetic evening filled with music, dancing, laughter, and pure joy. With no formal agenda, the night felt even more special-free-flowing conversations, spontaneous dance circles, and countless photo moments captured the essence of togetherness. Dinner followed, bringing everyone together one last time around shared tables, great food, and heartfelt conversations.
By 11:00 PM, it was time to depart for Ahmedabad. The buses rolled out, but the energy didn’t fade-singing, laughter, and shared memories carried well into the night, marking a perfect close to an extraordinary day.
In the early hours of January 4, as our buses cruised along the highway, many finally caught a bit of sleep. We made one last stop around 8 AM at a roadside restaurant for breakfast. Sipping hot tea and munching on light breakfast fare together, we relived highlights of the trip from the moment someone innocently mistook a distant deer for a tiger (to much laughter) to the unforgettable sight of our CEO showing off bhangra moves on the dance floor. By approximately 11 AM, we arrived back in Ahmedabad, a bit weary but thoroughly happy and rejuvenated.
Stepping off the bus, there was a shared feeling that something special had just concluded. In the span of three days, we had not only explored a beautiful national park and celebrated our professional achievements, but we also grew closer as a team. It was clear that this was more than just a company outing; it was a journey that strengthened bonds and created memories to cherish for years to come. From the adrenaline rush of the safari to the pride in our award winners, from dancing under open skies to sharing quiet conversations by the campfire, every moment brought us together in meaningful ways.

Back at the office, the stories and photos from the Ranthambore retreat have been the talk of the week, with everyone swapping pictures and already planning to frame some of the best ones for their desks. The consensus is unanimous: the Ranthambore trip was a grand success. Not only did we start 2026 on a high note with renewed team spirit, but we also recognized what makes AddWeb special: OUR PEOPLE.
Here’s to many more adventures ahead and to the incredible team that makes it all possible. The wild jungles of Ranthambore might have been a departure from our daily work life, but the lessons learned and the friendships strengthened out there in the wilderness will undoubtedly inspire us in the projects and challenges we take on in the year to come.
