About Savoria: Savoria is a multi-cuisine restaurant in Canada that offers an extensive selection of dishes from around the world, expertly crafted by talented chefs. From spicy Indian curries to hearty Italian pasta and everything in between, there's something for everyone to enjoy at the restaurant.
Although AddWeb Solution worked on developing online food delivery websites and had profound insights into the field, we realized that deep research into the industry's current trends is necessary. So we began with identifying the industry challenges, opportunities, strengths, and possible weaknesses. This helped us create a seamless blueprint for the Savoria project to create an exceptional on-demand food delivery app that helps Savoria to streamline its restaurant business.
The research has helped us unearth newer and value-adding insights about the food delivery industry. We learned that various food businesses use the food delivery apps, such as large and small restaurants, single-person managed restaurants, restaurant chains, food business aggregators, food delivery startups, etc. These apps are central to their operations, and they want reliable technology and a platform with a secure payment gateway.
Keeping all these in mind, we decided to give the app an exceptional design and powerful functionalities that can make it the best in the market. So we quickly assembled a team of UI/UX designers and developers to develop the food app. We developed a roadmap for the app that also involved time for extensive testing to ensure that the app works perfectly in all environments.

Relying on agile development processes and methodologies, AddWeb’s team started working on the Savoria project: As we began, we wanted to ensure that the app performed exceptionally well for restaurants and customers. Hence, we decided to give the solution an intuitive design different from other food delivery apps like UberEATS, Swiggy & Zomato. Our design team worked on the design to make the dashboard for restaurant owners intuitive. As an on-demand food delivery app development company, we have often heard complaints from the industry that dashboards often need to be more straightforward and intuitive. Hence, we developed a custom theme for Savoria's food delivery website app.
Once the design was finalized, we focused on developing the full-featured app. As the app is for the customers, we needed to ensure that the food delivery app needs to perform on multiple technology environments and mobile platforms. We kept this in our mind as we developed the app. Further, we used Vue.js and Nuxt.js for the front end and Python Development for the back end. We have also integrated Razorpay as the payment gateway.
At the final stage, the food delivery web app was extensively tested for performance, user experience, and user-friendliness. We used Tailwind Css and Autoprefixer plugins and dependencies such as pinia, vee-validate, Axios, swiper, font awesome, and chart.js during the development process.
The filter functionality allows users to filter food items based on various filters, such as price, type of food, discounts, etc. It also helps restaurants ensure food items are available under each filter.
Users can quickly search for their favorite foods right on the app and order the food without scrolling through the menu to order food.
Users can make a wish list of the foods they want and get alerts when they are available for ordering.
Users can check their order history to know what, when, and how they have ordered food, along with other order details.
Customers can create an account in the app and sign into the same. This helps the users get personalized food suggestions and discount offers.
Users also have the option to add, update, and delete new and multiple addresses according to their food delivery requirements.
Users can apply offers to their orders to ensure they don’t miss out on the offers and discounts.
Users can use the reviews functionality to review each food item ordered within the app. It helps businesses make the services and food better.
Users can confidently make the payment online with the help of the Razorpay payment gateway or pay by cash.
Users can also choose between dine-in and take-away food on the app’s homepage to make ordering easy.
After ordering the food and paying for the same; users can download the invoice and keep it for future reference if they want to.
