From Page 3 to Page 1 in Six Months

How we turned a 50-year home services brand’s five-star reputation into five-star search visibility across every digital channel.

section

“Within four months, we were on the first page of Google for the searches that actually matter. The social media was the surprise we went from pages we never touched to channels where customers reach out for quotes. This is the first time our marketing has worked as one system. Every channel feeds the others.”

Channel by Channel

ORGANIC TRAFFIC

Ranking keywords :12 → 78

Non-branded organic sessions compounded each month as technical fixes, content, and link building reinforced each other. Branded search also rose 34% as social and paid drove broader name recognition.

PAID ADVERTISING

2× leads, – 40% CPL

Google Ads: qualified leads doubled while cost per lead dropped 40%. CTA testing and form placement changes across service pages turned the higher traffic into higher conversion.

Meta Ads: real before-and-after photos outperformed stock imagery consistently, and ROAS climbed steadily from the early weeks through month six.

SOCIAL MEDIA & REVIEWS

40+ new Google reviews

From completely dormant to 12 professional posts/month with 400%+ follower growth. Customers began reaching out through Messenger and DMs for quotes, and a review generation programme strengthened the Google Business Profile across the board.

LINK BUILDING

190+ quality backlinks

Entire toxic backlink profile cleaned, then a sustained programme averaging 30+/month from local directories and home services publications. Domain authority grew 72% over the engagement.

EMAIL AUTOMATION

23 repeat bookings

Built 640 subscribers from zero across four automated workflows: post-job follow-ups (42% open rate), seasonal reminders, upsell sequences, and review requests. Seasonal reminders drove 23 repeat bookings; the associated revenue was not tracked previously, so its financial impact cannot be quantified from the data available

SEO built trust, paid ads drove immediate volume, social proof shortened the decision cycle, and email automation captured lifetime value. Monthly leads rose from 14 to 126 (+800%), outpacing the reported 156% growth in organic traffic. This shows a strong lead-generation improvement, but the figures presented here do not establish a proportional increase in revenue; revenue growth would need to be measured separately. The results reflect the combined contribution of multiple channels, not organic search alone.

The initial Meta Ads creative leaned on stock photography clean, polished images that looked like every other cleaning service’s ads. Click-through was middling. When we switched to real before-and-after photos from actual jobs, engagement nearly tripled. Visual proof of transformation outperformed manufactured marketing every time.

Similarly, the early Google Ads campaigns cast a wide net on broad match keywords, burning budget on low-intent searches. It took two rounds of match-type tightening and negative keyword expansion before the campaigns settled into the cost-per-lead numbers we report above. The month-six results reflect six months of learning, not a launch-day setup.

These pivots shaped our approach: lead with real proof over polished production, and build campaigns to learn fast rather than scale immediately.
